May 6, 2017  -  Mother/Daughter Banquet

Berlin Baptist Church, Wagener, S.C. will present a re-creation of the village of Bethlehem for Christmas 2014 called “Bethlehem’s Child” on December 13 and 14 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. 

 

This premier production will be an interactive, walk-through visit for guest of all ages with free admission.  Centered around the stable at the Inn, the village will be buzzing with the news that a special child has been born.  The nativity scene will be authentically portrayed with live animals and traditional characters. 

 

Come experience “Bethlehem’s Child”, Downtown Wagener, in the parkway between the pavilion and the library. Bethlehem’s Child will be held on two special nights.

Sunday evening services, December 5, 2010, were held at Pepper Hill Nursing Home, Uni-Health, and Perry Eldercare.  The members of Berlin Baptist Church carried the Christmas message to the residents, along with some delicious fruit.   Pastor Tommy Huddleston read scripture of the Christmas Story and all enjoyed singing the “good ole favorite” Christmas carols.  A great time was enjoyed by all.

“The Great Gift Exchange”, Christmas musical, was presented by the Youth/Children on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.  The true meaning was taking the spotlight off of ourselves and discovering the ultimate gift exchange, which is Jesus giving himself to us in exchange for our sins.

 

A Baptismal Service was held during the morning service on December 6.  Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.

Berlin Baptist Church participated in both the Salley Chitlin Strut parade on Saturday, November 28, 2009 and also the Wagener Christmas parade on Saturday, December 5, 2009 with a float depicting “The True Meaning of Christmas”.  “Special Thanks” to ALL those involved – Great Work!!
